Citroen Relay in Chorley Lancashire
When you need to get the job done, the Citroën Relay delivers. It’s available in 4 body lengths and 3 roof heights, with a payload capacity up to 1870kg and a load volume up to 17m3. Enterprise, Worker and Driver versions are available, and there are up to 11 driving aids like Grip Control to make life easier. Power comes from a BlueHDi Euro 6.2 compliant diesel engine with 120PS or 140PS and stop-start technology. The ë-Relay is a 100% electric panel van offered with two batteries: a 37kWh battery with up to 73 miles of range for deliveries, or a 70kWh battery with up to 139 miles of range for all-day driving (figures based on a 50% payload). It supports 50kW DC charging for a 5-80% top up in 1 hour and it has an on-board 22kW charger. The payload capacity is 1,150kg and the ë-Relay has a load volume up to 15m3.
The Relay and ë-Relay have several neat design features, including a nearside sliding side door wide enough for a Euro pallet. Enterprise and Driver models have rear parking sensors, the Touch Screen Navigation Pack and cruise control.
Diesel models are Euro 6.2 compliant but it’s the electric ë-Relay that steals the show with a 73 mile or 139 mile range. A full charge costs around £6, and it benefits from a £3,000 OZEV grant and £350 OZEV grant towards workplace charger installation
Relay load volumes range from 8m3 to 17m3 with a maximum payload capacity of 1,870kg, or up to 15m3 and 1,150kg with the ë-Relay. The ë-Relay can tow a 1,000kg braked trailer while diesel models will tow a 2,500kg braked trailer.
